I’ve been sticking to old favorites so there isn’t any new booze to report. But here’s a look at this week’s retail delights.
I like the idea and look of Edison lamps but the exposed bulbs scare the klutz in me. Plus, I found the light to be too orange and dim. Then I found this bedside lamp at Target for $25 and said I’ll take it. The acrylic frame holding my parents’ picture was a steal for $8 at Marshall’s.
It doesn’t get too cold over here so I jump when the temperatures make like the beat and drops. I picked up this Steve Madden beanie for only $9 at Marshall’s. When I saw the “BRRR” I had to make it mine. It is so cheeky and fun and reminds me of Bring It On.
When I was in my Dawson’s Creek days, Josephine was my top name if I had a daughter. I love regal, historical-sounding names. I still do. The having kids part, not so much. Maybe when I get a dog, I can use this lovely name.
This hip restaurant Josephine Estelle is located in the even hipper Ace Hotel. There’s so much to the space, you feel like you should spend the whole day in the hotel checking out all the details. Alongside the restaurant, is Stumptown Coffee Roasters and a rooftop pool. So much going on! Definitely worthy of a staycation or an adult Eloise at the Plaza adventure.
